A Message from Our President: 10 Years. One Mission. A New Chapter.
The future of work isn't being built by companies alone, it's being built by the people who keep everything moving.
Ten years ago, The Mom Project started with a simple belief: moms shouldn't have to choose between building a career and building a life.
We knew there was more talent, ambition, and potential in the workforce than traditional systems were making room for. What we didn't know was just how much work, and the people doing it, would change.
What started as a way to connect moms with opportunity has grown into a community of more than two million Makers of Momentum: moms, parents, caregivers, professionals, entrepreneurs, and leaders who are building careers, raising families, leading teams, and figuring out what comes next.
They don't all have the same story. But they share something important: they keep things moving. They move families, teams, businesses, and communities forward. And when you create opportunity for the people who keep so much moving, the impact moves with them.
To date, The Mom Project has delivered more than a quarter-billion dollars in economic impact to moms, representing careers restarted, skills recognized, confidence rebuilt, and businesses strengthened.
We didn't get here by standing still. We got here by listening.
Our community told us what they needed: more ways to find opportunity and grow, more connections and resources, greater access to exceptional talent, more recruiting support, and more ways to keep critical work moving.
So we kept moving, too.
Today, The Mom Project is more than a talent marketplace. We're a talent community and workforce solutions partner built around the ever-changing needs of the people and companies we serve.
For talent, that means more ways to find the right opportunity. Through our talent community and marketplace, professionals can discover jobs that align with their experience, skills, goals, and lives—and connect with employers who are looking for what they bring to the table.
For employers, it means more ways to access and engage exceptional talent. AccessMom gives companies a more direct, flexible way to tap into our community through a self-service talent marketplace. AccessMom Pro combines that marketplace with recruiting expertise and support. And when companies need a more hands-on approach, MomForce Delivered provides full-service recruiting from search through placement.
But hiring isn't the only moment that matters.
MomForce Engage helps companies build meaningful relationships with the talent community and strengthen their employer brand. Maternityships® help businesses keep critical work moving when employees take parental leave, while Returnships create pathways for professionals returning to the workforce to rebuild skills, confidence, and momentum.
Together, these solutions reflect a simple idea: there isn't one way to build a career, and there isn't one way to solve a talent need.
The workforce has changed. The way people build careers has changed. And the way companies find, engage, and retain talent has changed. Our approach has to change with it.
For our talent, this means creating more pathways to opportunity and more ways to build a career that works with the life you're building.
For employers, it means a different way to think about and engage talent—one that recognizes the experience, skills, and potential that exist beyond traditional hiring models.
And for us, it means continuing to challenge the assumptions that have kept too much talent on the sidelines for too long.
Our mission has never been just about getting moms back to work. It's about creating opportunity, driving economic impact, and building a better way forward for all the people and companies who keep work and life moving.
Ten years is a milestone, but it's not a destination. It's a reminder of what happens when a mission meets a community and that community refuses to stand still.
The world keeps moving. And so will we.
Here's to the next chapter, and to every Maker of Momentum moving it forward with us.
Sincerely,
Tricia House, President & COO
